Apple has just officially announced their first line of 5G smartphones through the iPhone 12 series at an event titled “Hi, Speed” which was held early Wednesday (14/10/2020). Their newest mobile phone series are namely the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
In the premium category, Apple introduced the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. For the price, the iPhone 12 Pro starts at $999. Meanwhile for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the company will begin the selling $1,099.
IPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max Release Date
Apple said, pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Pro will be opened on October 16, 2020, and will be available in the market on October 23.
Meanwhile, pre-orders for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max is still on November 6, and go on sale freely in the market on November 13.
IPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max specifications
In appearance, the shortcomings have a similar design to the iPhone 12. The only difference is that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max come in stainless steel.
Apart from that, the Pro version also comes with a bigger screen. iPhone 12 Pro has 6.1 inches screen size while the iPhone 12 Pro has a screen size of 6.7 inches.
Just like the iPhone 12, the Pro series screens come with Super Retina XDR and Ceramic Shields protection. There are four colors available: graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue.
The Camera on the iPhone 12 Pro
The performance of this smartphone is supported by the A14 Bionic chip. As for the operating system, this device runs iOS 14 and already has IP68 certification.
The photography needs of this device are left to the wide 12MP, 12MP ultra wide, and telephoto lenses. Apple also includes a LiDAR sensor on these two typed smartphones.
