10,612 Foreigners have Left Indonesia Since July 1, 2021

The Immigration Class I Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport noted that 10,612 foreigners left Indonesia through the airport on July 1, 2021. This condition happened before the Indonesian government officially restricted foreigners’ access during PPKM 3rd-4th level.

“Based on data from the Immigration Office at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, since July 1 to 23 2021, we have recorded 10,612 foreigners from 10 countries, Japan, China, South Korea, the United States, France, Britain, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia. Arabia left Indonesia through Soekarno Hatta Airport,” said Sam Fernando, Head of Information and Communication Technology for Immigration Soekarno Hatta Airport.

Based on the data, most foreigners leaving Indonesia came from Japan, followed by China.

“There are 2,380 Japanese citizens, 2,053 Chinese citizens, 1,432 South Korean citizens, 1,251 United States citizens, and 775 French citizens, 654 British citizens, 625 Russian Federation citizens, 533 German citizens, 467 Dutch citizens, and 442 Saudi Arabia citizens who left Indonesia,” he continued.
