Ahmad Riza Patria, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta claimed that DKI Jakarta is now in the green zone of Covid-19 transmission. Besides being in the green zone, DKI Jakarta has met herd immunity.

As of August 15, DKI Jakarta is no longer included in the red zone category according to data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force.

The decline in positive cases from day to day and the vaccination program running smoothly are indicators of claims for the green zone and the fulfillment of herd immunity in DKI Jakarta.

However, Riza asked the people of Jakarta to continue to comply with health protocols and immediately vaccinate despite the decline in positive cases and high vaccination rates. It was recorded that more than 9 million people had vaccinated the first dose, while for the second dose it reached 4,845,271 people.

The DKI Jakarta Province is targeting 11 million people to be vaccinated from the previous target of only 8.8 million people. This target is expected to be achieved in the next few weeks.

Quoted from cnnindonesia.com, most areas of DKI Jakarta are included in the orange zone category or moderate risk for Covid-19 transmission. Meanwhile, the yellow zone is only occupied by the Kepulauan Seribu.
