Six foreigners who have violated medical protocol for the implementation of restrictions on public activities (PPKM) Java-Bali starting July 3rd, 2021 to date have been deported by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Bali.
Quoted from Balitribune.co.id, Jamaruli Manihuruk, Head of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office, said he invited all relevant stakeholders/agencies to continue to work together in supervising and monitoring foreigners who are still in Bali. This is to prevent potential violations committed by the foreigner.
The team consists of 13 people who are divided into 2 teams. The first point of monitoring activities is carried out at the intersection of Jalan Pantai Sindu, Jalan Danau Toba. While the second point is carried out along Sanur Beach by targeting restaurants/cafes.
From the results of surveillance, it can be seen that foreigners who carry out activities in the area have complied with health protocols and no immigration violations were found.
In addition to supervising, the Immigration Office Class I TPI Denpasar also provides education and advice to foreigners, restaurant, or cafe owners around the location to maintain health protocols and pay attention to the validity period of their residence permits.
Jamaruli added that the surveillance and monitoring measures for foreigners were to find out where they were and the activities they carried out while living in the Bali area.
