No Need to Worry, Now You Can Monitor Vaccine Stocks in Indonesia

Vaccine stocks

The government continues to maintain the vaccine’s availability for the community. By the end of 2021, Indonesia is planned to receive 258 million doses of vaccine

The plan, in August, will come 72 million doses of imported vaccines, and another 70 million doses imported in September.

To facilitate information access related to the vaccines’ availability, the government provides access to the public through the Ministry of Health’s official website and Electronic Immunization and Logistics Monitoring System application (SMILE).

Nadia, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health said, SMILE application is a development of the Ministry of Health’s vaccination dashboard, which is currently located at https://vaksin.kemkes.go.id.

Quoted from tirto.id, logistical recording, and reporting in SMILE application include the batch number, expiration date of the vaccine and the logistics of the vaccination received, the number of vaccines issued, the number of vaccines used, and the number of damaged and expired vaccines.

“We make it easier for the public to monitor the estimated availability of vaccine stocks, and update the number of vaccines based on the smallest unit area, namely districts and cities. The public can easily access the Ministry of Health dashboard through the link www.vaksin.kemkes.go.id/#/vaccines,” said Nadia.
