During the Covid-19 pandemic and new normal period, Indonesia developed an application called PeduliLindungi to assist the government in tracking and stopping the spread of Covid-19. Now, the application has been renamed SatuSehat Mobile and has several new features.

The change occurred on February 28, 2023, but the public could only start using it on Wednesday, March 1.

According to Setiaji, the Health Technology Expert Staff and Chief Digital Transformation Officer (DTO) at the Ministry of Health, those who had previously downloaded PeduliLindungi only need to update the application through the Play Store or App Store.

After giving consent to the terms and conditions in SatuSehat Mobile, users only need to log in with their registered phone number or email.

Initially, the application is intended for IOS users, but it will soon be available for Android users.

Profile members, Covid-19 vaccination certificates, and tickets will also be automatically synchronized.

After giving approval, SatuSehat Mobile users do not need to create a new account to start using SatuSehat Mobile.

In addition to the previous features related to Covid-19 handling in PeduliLindungi, a new feature called ‘health diary’ will soon be available, which can record and monitor the user’s and their loved ones’ health conditions.

The feature can record four conditions: body measurements (height and weight), blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart rate. After that, various information such as health curves, analysis, and recommendations for further action will appear.

According to Setiaji, with the health diary feature, this application can help and provide information to monitor users’ health according to their body conditions, and this can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

In its development plan, SatuSehat Mobile will gradually add various other personal health support features whose data comes from and is integrated with electronic medical records (EMRs) through this platform.

The SatuSehat Mobile innovation’s launch opens up opportunities for all parties to register and test SatuSehat integration through satusehat.kemkes.go.id/platform.

The portal provides various playbooks for fasyankes in adapting interoperability standards and data integration, starting from interoperability modules, patient master data, healthcare worker master data, as well as terminology browsers and Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Dictionary (KFA).

“We hope this portal can be a guide for private parties or IT developers at the Health Office in districts and cities to apply the same standards to perform data interoperability with the SatuSehat Platform,” said Setiaji.
