The Bezzera Latte Art Competition (BLAC) was recently held in Bali, where 32 participants from various regions showcased their skills in creating beautiful and delicious coffee and latte art. This competition is highly prestigious and is considered an art form by many.

The participants were judged based on technical and visual aspects by a panel of three professional judges who assessed the latte art patterns, techniques used, cleanliness, and presentation skills of each contestant.

The BLAC is a three-stage competition with preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, and the rules and regulations of each stage are based on those of the World Latte Art Championship. The competition was organized by Rotaryana, and three professional judges were invited to judge the competition.

Despite the impressive skills of the participants, only three contestants made it to the final round, where they showcased their best latte art designs in a highly competitive environment.

The winner of the competition, I Putu Satria Pratama, was awarded the first prize, followed by Pande Gede I Ketut Wedana and Rafka Givano as the second and third winners, respectively.

The winners of each Roadshow BLAC competition in major cities across Indonesia will receive a golden ticket to become grand finalists in the Grand Final BLAC 2023, which will be held in Jakarta.

The president director of Rotaryana, Karisma Kamdani, hopes that the competition will provide a platform for coffee lovers to meet and share their experiences. She also hopes that this experience will serve as a learning opportunity and motivation for Latte Artists in Bali to enhance their skills and compete at the national and even international level.

The BLAC competition has already been held successfully in Bandung and Bekasi, and this event in Bali has once again demonstrated the talent and creativity of Indonesian Latte Artists.

Overall, the competition has helped to promote the art of latte making, celebrate the skill of Latte Artists, and provide a platform for them to showcase their talents to a wider audience.
