Bali, the enchanting island known for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture, has clinched the top spot as the preferred honeymoon destination for 2024. Among the array of luxurious accommodations, one villa stands out for newlyweds: The Kayon Valley Resort. This particular villa, a favorite among South Korean tourists, promises an unforgettable romantic escape.
Nestled in the serene region of Ubud, The Kayon Valley Resort is crafted with honeymooners and adults in mind. CEO of The Kayon Hotels and Resorts, I Wayan Sucitra, emphasized the villa’s dedication to providing a peaceful and intimate environment.
“The Kayon Valley Resort is indeed targeted at honeymooners. Therefore, guests here will not be disturbed when they want to have an intimate experience with their partners,” he explained during an interview at the resort on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

Each villa at The Kayon Valley Resort is designed to offer privacy and luxury. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a television, bathroom, dining room, living room, kitchen, and a private pool, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The resort features 22 villas, available in five types: Valley Pool Villa, Jungle Pool Villa, Premier Pool Villa, Premier Garden Villa, and Premier Pool with Spa Bath.
“Our villa rates start at around Rp 7 million per night, but they can vary depending on market demand,” Wayan mentioned.
The resort’s prime location in Petulu, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali, adds to its allure for honeymooners.
“It’s not far from the center of Ubud, so guests staying here are close to the city but can still enjoy green views during their stay,” he said.
In the year since its opening, The Kayon Valley Resort has welcomed both domestic and international guests. However, South Korean tourists dominate the guest list.
“South Korean tourists remain at the top of the list because their main purpose is indeed for honeymooning,” Wayan added. Visitors from Europe, Australia, and Turkey follow closely behind. The villa notes that South Korean guests typically book their stays up to six months in advance.
To cater to its target audience, The Kayon Valley Resort offers the Luxury Honeymoon Essence package, a three-day, two-night experience that includes yoga sessions, a romantic dinner, a spa treatment, and free access to The Kayon Jungle Resort.
Wayan highlighted the villa’s commitment to providing a perfect honeymoon experience, ensuring that every detail is tailored to create a memorable and intimate retreat for couples.
The combination of luxury, privacy, and the stunning natural beauty of Ubud makes The Kayon Valley Resort a top choice for honeymooners looking to celebrate their love in paradise.
In summary, The Kayon Valley Resort stands out as a premier destination for newlyweds seeking a luxurious and intimate honeymoon in Bali. With its exceptional facilities, dedicated service, and idyllic location, it continues to attract couples from around the world, solidifying its reputation as a top honeymoon retreat.
