Kemendikbudristek will lead several discussion topics. Delegates will focus on two of the EdWG G20 priority agendas, namely Quality Education for All, and Digital Technology in Education.

Moreover, Kemendikbudristek will also lead the preparation of the G20 EdWG report, and the draft declaration at the ministerial level of education.

Entering this second meeting, Chair G20 EdWG Iwan Syahril said that the discussion would focus on breakthroughs in the education sector by exploring the independent learning program as a transformation tool in the education sector.

“In this 2nd EdWG G20 meeting, we will strengthen our commitment to recover together. The Minister of Education and Technology will also convey various breakthroughs in the Freedom of Learning as an inspiration for developed and developing countries to transform the education sector,” said Iwan Syahril as quoted in a press release.
