The General Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) said several countries were on a dangerous path to face the Covid-19 pandemic. Tedros said health services are under pressure and even critical due to overcapacity.

“The next few months will be very difficult and some countries are on a dangerous path,” he stressed.
He urged the countries’ leaders to take decisive action. This is to prevent the death rate from Covid-19 which continues to be recorded.
“We urge the leaders to take immediate actions, to prevent further unnecessary deaths, to pay attention to essential health services and to close schools again,” he explained.
Not only in Asia, Corona in Europe is now again setting records. The addition of daily cases in the last 10 days has even doubled, reaching 200 thousand cases a day.
Based on the worldometers report on Saturday (24/10/2020), the United States is still the country with the highest cases of Covid-19 both from daily case reports and cumulative numbers of Covid-19.
