Year-end Holiday restriction – The government will tighten the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) level 3 during the Christmas and New year holidays. This restriction will be implemented from December 24, 2021 – January 2, 2022. Several activities that will be affected are worship activities, new year parties, and Close tourist attractions when necessary.

Jokowi said that this restriction is a reflection of Covid-19 cases in Europe. He emphasized that level 3 PPKM is important to prevent an impact on the nation’s economy. As we know, the nation’s economy has been slumped due to high cases in July-august 2021 in Indonesia.
It is predicted that during the new year and Christmas holidays, there will be a massive movement of people who are thriving for holidays.
