Business News Today: Business-27 Index Becomes Positive, BBNI, BMRI, and ASII Stocks Are Bright

Trading Tuesday (8/2) today was colored by the Business-27 Index which entered the green zone. Based on Bloomberg data on Monday (7/2/2022), the index resulting from the daily collaboration between Bisnis Indonesia and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) rose 0.53 percent to 533.53 at 09.01 WIB.

Then, 17 stocks rose, 3 stocks weakened, and 7 stocks traded stagnant this morning.

Furthermore, the shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) led the gains with a 2.37 percent increase to Rp. 7,550. Shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) also rose 2.33 percent to Rp. 7,675 shares of PT Astra International Tbk. (ASII) rose 1.83 percent to Rp. 5,575.

Some stocks are declining

On the other hand, some stocks have experienced a decline. Shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT) fell the most by 0.53 percent to Rp9. 40. TLKM and KLBF shares also declined, down 0.47 percent and 0.30 percent, respectively.

Furthermore, several stocks were observed to be stagnant or unchanged at the opening of Monday’s trading. The shares are SMGR, INTP, MIKA, and ADRO.

Moreover, the JCI advanced in the green zone with an increase of 0.75 percent to 6,856.29. At the beginning of this trading, the composite index was moving in the range of 6,809-6,860.

In summary, as many as 267 stocks rose, 155 stocks weakened, and 183 stocks traded stagnant. Market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange rose to Rp. 8,671.66 trillion.
