In the second quarter of 2022, Singapore’s investment realization in Indonesia reached US$ 3.1 billion. However, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia has doubts about the source of Singapore’s investment funds.
“I’m not sure this is Singapore’s money. This is Singapore, maybe most of it is Indonesian money,” said Bahlil at the Investment Ministry/BKPM, Wednesday (20/7/2022).
According to Bahlil, Singapore’s achievements exceed its total investment in 2021. Bahlil also admitted that he was surprised because, in 2021, Singapore’s highest investment realization reached US$ 5 billion.
