In concern of Motor Vehicle emission, The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will prohibit the entry of two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles that are more than 3 years old starting November 13, 2021.
Cars and motorcycles that are declared not to have passed the emission test will be subject to fines.
For vehicle owners who violate, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will impose sanctions in the form of fines with details; IDR 500,000 cars and IDR 250,000 motorbikes.
According to Government Rules No. 66/2020 concerning Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emission Test, it is mandatory for exhaust emission test to be carried out at least 1 time in 1 year at the available emission test place.
Where to test our vehicle ?
According to Jakarta Bussiness, There are 207 workshops in 5 administrative cities. The workshops that provide emission test services are located in East Jakarta, South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta.
In detail, there are 38 emission test workshops in North Jakarta, 42 in West Jakarta, 20 in Central Jakarta, 41 in East Jakarta, and 66 in South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the workshop is not yet available for the “Kepulauan Seribu” area.
Motor vehicle users in the capital city can conduct emission tests at a number of locations, including; emission test workshops, emission test kiosks, and emission test service vehicles that operate on a mobile basis.
