PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) welcomes the Government’s plan to use the Covid-19 GeNose C-19 detection tool at the airport on April 1, 2021.
This has fostered optimism in the aviation sector, where the existence of this affordable Covid-19 test service has the potential to increase air passenger traffic.

At this trial stage, Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) in Kulon Progo will be used as a trial airport for the trial implementation of using GeNose C-19.
Faik Fahmi said, in this preparation phase, Angkasa Pura I will coordinate with the provider to prepare 40 GeNose C-19 devices and their service location areas.
Not only that, his party has also prepared a procedure for checking Covid-19 using GeNose C-19. In the initial stage, the Covid-19 test service using GeNose C-19 will be implemented at Yogya International Airport (YIA) and will gradually be implemented in all Angkasa Pura I airports.
GeNose C-19 services at Angkasa Pura I airport are specifically for people who already have flight tickets.
