Indonesia is looking forward to a booster dose of vaccine injection next year. However, the injection process will be done according to several categories.

The booster can be done after the coverage of the second dose of vaccination has reached 50 percent of the target. The government has set a vaccination target for 208,265,720 people.
“Then the approach can be homologous or heterologous, meaning by using the same vaccine or different vaccines,” said Nadia.
The Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, explained that the recipients of the BPJS Kesehatan contribution assistance will receive free doses.
Spokesperson for Covid-19 Vaccination from the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said priority for booster vaccines was given to the elderly after health workers.
