Starting today, March 1, 2022, buying and selling land must attach a Health Social Security Administration (BPJS) card as one of the requirements. Previously, BPJS Health would be used as a requirement to manage all public service activities.
Some public services that require BPJS Health as a requirement are Driver’s License (SIM), police certificate (SKCK), Umrah, and Hajj services.
This is stated in Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2022 concerning Optimizing the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program (JKN) which was signed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on January 6, 2022.
