Yozua Makes, CEO of Plataran Indonesia, shared insight into the resort’s visitor profile, stating that around 85% of its guests are international travelers. “Of these, about 60% are couples,” he said during a press conference at Hutan Kota by Plataran Jakarta on Thursday (21/11/2024).

Guests from Europe and the United States dominate the resort’s international clientele. The largest groups hail from France, the Netherlands, the UK, and Italy. Makes emphasized that the resort’s allure continues to attract travelers year-round, with an average stay of two nights.
“The peak season is from April to September, when visitors come to enjoy sailing, but we encourage our guests to experience Labuan Bajo’s beauty beyond just sailing,” Makes explained.
Plataran Komodo has also introduced an innovative way for guests to immerse themselves in the local culture. The resort offers visits to nearby villages, located just 30-40 minutes away, for those eager to explore the traditions and lifestyle of the region.
This award marks another achievement for Plataran Komodo, following its recognition in 2023 when it won both the Global Winner for Luxury Beach Retreat and Regional Winner for Luxury Private Beach Resort at the World Luxury Hotel Awards. Additionally, TripAdvisor recently named it the top resort in East Nusa Tenggara, cementing its status as a must-visit destination.
