Topgolf Jakarta has arrived, blending golf with high-tech entertainment in a vibrant new way, marking its official launch on Sunday, October 27, 2024. This latest global attraction promises to redefine the golf experience, welcoming people of all ages to enjoy the game in a relaxed, social setting right in South Jakarta’s Cilandak area.
Andrew Nathan, CEO of Topgolf Southeast Asia Development, describes Jakarta as the second location in Southeast Asia after Bangkok, Thailand. He envisions Topgolf Jakarta as more than just a golf center; it’s a social hub where friends, families, corporations, and golf enthusiasts alike can connect.
“Topgolf Jakarta represents a major milestone in our journey to bring a fresh, community-focused entertainment experience worldwide. We are thrilled to introduce this destination to Jakarta, blending the thrill of golf with advanced technology and a lively social environment,” said Nathan during the Press and Par-Tee Day event held to celebrate the launch, quoted from CNBC Indonesia.
Occupying a sprawling 3.5-hectare space, Topgolf Jakarta boasts 102 hitting bays spread across three floors. It has been designed as a premier spot for play, socializing, and enjoying an array of food and beverage options. The new location fits seamlessly into Topgolf’s vision of making golf more enjoyable, accessible, and modern, as it adds to their list of over 100 sites across nine countries.
“Topgolf’s presence in Jakarta provides an opportunity for Indonesia’s golf enthusiasts to connect with our global community where innovation, excitement, and inclusivity come together,” Nathan added.

Topgolf Jakarta combines elements of gaming and high-tech with Toptracer technology, offering unique games like Angry Birds, Block Party, and a specially designed golf club, “The Sure Thing.” This club, built with a larger head and 20-degree angle, makes it easy for players of any skill level to swing and enjoy the game—an aspect that further reinforces Topgolf Jakarta’s inclusive approach.
Operations Director Francis Dehnhardt noted that while golf is often seen as serious and skill-intensive, Topgolf Jakarta is proving that the sport can be equally relaxing and entertaining.
“Topgolf shows that golf can be played casually with friends, without any stress over technique or ability,” Dehnhardt explained.
In addition to its golfing features, Topgolf Jakarta includes three restaurants, four bars, and dedicated entertainment zones. “Whether you’re here to hit some balls or just to hang out, there’s always something to experience. We aim to deliver a unique setting that goes beyond just the game, combining cutting-edge technology, delicious food, and a lively vibe,” Dehnhardt added.
Further enhancing its appeal, Topgolf Jakarta has created spaces for corporate and VIP events, with amenities like the Social Room, which is fitted with a large LED screen for an impressive event backdrop. With family-friendly facilities and open spaces designed to encourage social engagement, Topgolf Jakarta aims to become Indonesia’s go-to destination for relaxed yet upscale recreation.
