Indonesia’s aviation industry has achieved global recognition, with two of international airports in Indonesia securing spots on the list of the world’s top 100 airports. The ranking, released by the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2023-2024, is based on votes from air travelers worldwide, assessing their experience from check-in to departure. The results highlight Indonesia’s growing reputation for high-quality airport services.

The Ministry of Transportation (@kemenhub151) shared the news on Instagram, with the Ministry of Tourism (@kemenpar.ri) tagging the post. The two international airports in Indonesia that made the list are Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) in Jakarta and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.

Soekarno-Hatta saw a notable improvement in its ranking, climbing to 28th place in 2024 from 43rd in 2023. Meanwhile, Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport also moved up the ranks, securing the 74th position this year, compared to 80th last year.
