Traveling with heavy luggage can quickly turn a convenient trip into a tiring experience. To address this challenge, KCIC has introduced luggage storage facilities at selected Whoosh stations, allowing passengers to explore their destinations more freely without carrying bags and suitcases throughout the day.
The service is currently available at Whoosh Halim Station and Whoosh Padalarang Station. According to Eva Chairunisa, General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC, the facility is designed to support passengers seeking a more practical travel experience, whether they are traveling for leisure, business, or other purposes.
“These luggage storage lockers can be utilized by passengers who want to travel more conveniently, whether for tourism, business trips, or other activities,” Eva said in an official statement on Friday (June 19, 2026).

The lockers are particularly useful for travelers making transit journeys or planning one-day trips. Eva highlighted a common scenario involving tourists from outside Jakarta who check out of their hotels in the morning but do not have a return trip to their hometown until later in the evening.
Instead of carrying their luggage throughout the day, passengers can leave their belongings in a locker at Halim Station and use the extra time to travel to Bandung on the Whoosh high-speed train. They can then return to Jakarta on the same day without the burden of bringing their bags along.
Once back in Jakarta in the evening, passengers can simply retrieve their luggage from the locker and continue their journey home.
The storage service is operated through PaxelBox and PopBox facilities, which offer multiple locker sizes to accommodate different passenger needs. The lockers can be used to store a variety of personal belongings, including wallets, mobile phones, laptops, bags, helmets, and cabin-sized suitcases measuring approximately 21 inches.
For larger items, the biggest available locker measures up to 59 x 47.5 x 47.5 centimeters.
Passengers can complete both the storage and retrieval processes independently through the mobile applications provided by the respective service operators. At Halim Station, the lockers are located near the ATM Gallery area. At Padalarang Station, they can be found in the arrival area.
The service is designed to be affordable and flexible. Rental fees start at Rp5,000 per hour, with several duration options available depending on passenger requirements.
Payment can be completed through various methods, including digital wallets and virtual accounts, making the process convenient for users.
To enhance security and provide peace of mind, the locker facilities are equipped with digital access systems and CCTV monitoring.
Eva added that KCIC remains committed to introducing new service innovations aimed at improving the passenger experience. Through supporting facilities such as luggage storage lockers, the company seeks to create a more modern travel environment that aligns with the evolving mobility needs of today’s travelers.
As passenger expectations continue to evolve, services that simplify travel are becoming increasingly important. With luggage storage now available at Halim and Padalarang stations, Whoosh passengers have another option to make their journeys more comfortable, flexible, and efficient.
