189 Companies Shares Strengthened, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) Green Zone

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) moved higher at the opening of Stock Market (Saham) trading on Tuesday this week. A total of 189 Stocks Market strengthened , pushing the JCI to the green zone.

In early trading Tuesday (25/8/2020), the JCI rose 20.59 points or 0.39 percent to 5,296.12. Meanwhile, the LQ45 Stock Index also strengthened 0.40 percent to 840.74.

At the beginning of this trade, JCI was at the highest position at the level of 5,302.23. While the lowest was 5,276.95.

A total of 189 Stocks increased, pushing the JCI to the green zone. Meanwhile, 48 stocks fell and 112 stocks stay in place.

The total frequency of Stock Market trading was 28,892 times with a trading volume of 655.7 million shares. The daily transaction value of shares was IDR 433 billion.

It was recorded that foreign investors sold shares in the regular market to reach Rp 55 billion. Meanwhile, the rupiah exchange rate was at 14,650 per US dollar.

Of the 10 Stock Market sectors that make up the JCI, only one sector is in the red zone, namely mining, which fell 0.13 percent.

Meanwhile, the strengthening sector was led by the construction sector which strengthened 1.05 percent. Then followed by the financial sector rose 0.66 percent and the basic industrial sector strengthened 0.43 percent.

Stronger Stocks Market that pushed the JCI to the green zone, among others, BNII rose 22.22 percent to IDR 264 per share. Then CITY rose 16.13 percent to Rp 72 per share and SMKL increased 11.76 to Rp 190 per share.

Meanwhile, Stocks Market that weakened included FOOD, which fell 6.77 percent to Rp. 124 per share, MBAP which fell 6.71 percent to Rp. 2,640 per share, and BKSW fell 6.67 percent to Rp. 70 per share.

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed higher in trading earlier this week.

At the close of Stock Market trading, Monday (24/8/2020), the JCI closed up 4.23 points or 0.08 percent to 5,277.04. Meanwhile, the LQ45 stock index also rose 0.16 percent to 836.14 positions.

During trading, JCI was at the highest position at the level of 5,294.15 and the lowest was 5,261.40.

A total of 228 Stocks strengthened, pushing the JCI to the green zone. Meanwhile 211 stocks fell and 156 Stocks Market stay in place. Stock Market trading transactions were quite busy. The total frequency of stock trading is 802,798 times with a trading volume of 15.8 billion shares. The daily transaction value of shares is IDR 9.3 trillion.

Foreign investors sell shares for Rp 639.33 billion in the regular market. The position of the United States dollar (US) is in the range of Rp.14,675.

Of the 10 sectors that make up the JCI, only three are in the green zone, namely construction, which rose 1.39 percent, the financial sector rose 0.48 percent and the miscellaneous industry sector rose 0.13 percent.

Meanwhile, the weakening sector was led by the plantation sector which fell 1.17 percent. Then followed by the basic industrial sector which fell 0.61 percent and the mining sector which fell 0.49 percent.

Stocks Market that strengthened included SWAT which strengthened 34.07 percent to IDR 122 per share, BBKP strengthened 34.01 percent to IDR 264 per share and ACST strengthened 24.83 percent to IDR 362 per share. Stocks that weakened included FOOD which fell 6.99 percent to Rp 133 per share, KBAG fell 6.99 percent to Rp 173 per share and KJEN fell 6.87 percent to Rp 1,340 per share.
