The government conducted an additional sukuk auction (greenshoe option) for State Sharia Securities (SBSN) on Wednesday (27/7/2022). As a result, the total incoming bids were Rp. 1.74 trillion for the four SBSN series which are project-based Sukuk (PBS).
This additional auction is a follow-up to the SBSN auction on Tuesday (26/7/2022). Additional auction results show that all series were taken by the government, namely PBS031, PBS032, PBS029, and PBS033.
Previously reported, the auction of state sharia securities or state Sukuk on Tuesday (26/7/2022), resulted in an incoming bid of Rp. 10.76 trillion.
Based on a press release from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), the government has conducted an auction of state sharia securities (SBSN) or state Sukuk.
As a result, the total incoming bids amounted to Rp10.76 trillion for six series of SBSN consisting of 1 sharia state treasury letter (SPN-S) and five project-based Sukuk (PBS). This amount is lower than the previous edition’s auction results of Rp12.75 trillion.
The results of the Sukuk auction show that the most bids came in for the PBS031 series which matures on July 15, 2024, with a total of IDR 5.58 trillion. From these results, the government absorbed the offer of Rp. 4.8 trillion.
The next series that is most targeted by investors is PBS029 which matures on March 15, 2034, with a total bid of Rp2.42 trillion. The weighted average yield won 7.38 percent with a nominal amount won of IDR 0.15 trillion.
Meanwhile, the total nominal won from the six series offered was Rp. 5.87 trillion.
As a follow-up to the SBSN auction on 26 July 2022 and following the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 195/PMK.08/2020 concerning the Auction of State Sharia Securities in the Domestic Primary Market and the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 38/PMK.02/2020, the government will conduct an SBSN auction Additional (Green Shoe Option) on Wednesday, 27 July 2022 at 09.00-10.00 WIB.
The implementation of an additional auction (Green Shoe Option) may be participated by Bank Indonesia, LPS, and/or the main dealer who submits a purchase offer in the SBSN auction on July 26, 2022.
