Adventure lovers and ocean enthusiasts will have something big to look forward to in 2026. The Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) exhibition is set to return, bringing a grand showcase of water sports, marine tourism, outdoor lifestyle, and related industries. DXI 2026 will take place on April 23–26, 2026, at Hall A-B of the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).
Next year’s edition comes with an international collaboration. DXI 2026 will join hands with Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 360, a community established in Singapore in 1994 that connects explorers, innovators, and ocean lovers from around the world.
“DXI 2026 is collaborating with ADEX 360. This collaboration is a real strategy of DXI 2026, and it will open wide opportunities for the industry in Business to Business (B2B), Business to Consumer (B2C), and destinations,” said Michael Bayu A Sumarijanto, President Director of Dyandra Event Solutions, at the DXI 2026 press conference in South Jakarta on Tuesday (Sept 23, 2025).
Carrying the theme #DAREtoXPLORE: Waves Of Collaboration, the exhibition is designed to inspire partnerships across the adventure and marine tourism sector. According to Bayu, this event is not only about celebrating exploration but also about elevating Indonesia’s tourism industry to the international stage.
The partnership with ADEX expands DXI’s global reach. ADEX has already established its presence in countries like Japan, China, Maldives, the Philippines, Singapore, India, Malaysia, and Sydney. More countries are expected to join in the near future, supporting the growth of ocean and adventure lifestyle industries worldwide.
“So DXI has become part of this global community, and hopefully it can accelerate the growth and development of our industry in the tourism sector,” Bayu added.
DXI 2026 will feature two main areas. Hall A will focus on the marine industry, offering attractions such as Scuba Experience, a Mermaid Show, an Underwater Dance Competition, and other water-based adventures. Meanwhile, Hall B will be dedicated to land and water adventure industries, with activities ranging from Overland and Moto Adventure to Mountaineering, Paragliding, and Tactical Airsoft.
Project Manager Irfant Rifani highlighted that the goal is to make DXI 2026 a platform for maximum collaboration. “We hope DXI 2026 can foster maximum collaboration that attracts more visitors and boosts public interest in adventure tourism in Indonesia while expanding its positive impact on the industry,” he said.

Beyond exhibitions and adventure showcases, the event will also involve a wide range of stakeholders, from equipment distributors, brands, and agencies to travel destinations and digital creators. A special addition for next year will be the DXI Kids Education Area, providing younger visitors with a chance to learn more about adventure and marine culture.
Some of the most popular programs from previous editions will also make a comeback. Visitors can still enjoy mermaid competitions and workshops, the DXI Passport, inspiring talk sessions, and airsoft activities.
With its global collaborations, diverse programs, and focus on both land and sea adventure, DXI 2026 promises to be one of the most dynamic tourism and lifestyle exhibitions in the region.
