The service, called Shower and Locker and managed by Kereta Api Pariwisata, sits on the first floor of the South Hall. Once you walk in, you are greeted by a reservation counter and a line of bright orange lockers. Anyone wanting to store their luggage can speak directly to the staff and choose the service they need.
Payments are made through non-cash methods. QRIS, debit cards, and credit cards are all accepted. The rates for medium lockers follow a clear structure. One hour costs Rp 10.000. Two hours cost Rp 20.000. Four hours cost Rp 40.000. Twelve hours cost Rp 70.000. The 24 hour package costs Rp 110.000. For another medium locker option, the rates are Rp 15.000 for one hour, Rp 30.000 for two hours, Rp 55.000 for four hours, Rp 90.000 for twelve hours, and Rp 135.000 for the full 24 hour package.

The shower service works with the same simple process. Visitors come to the counter and tell the staff which service they want to use. KAI Wisata provides ten separate shower rooms at Gambir Station. Facilities are divided for men and women.
The shower fee is Rp 70.000 per person. The price includes a complete set of amenities. There is a modern shower, a hair dryer, air conditioning, soap, towels, and Wi-Fi. Many travelers see this as a small luxury in the middle of a busy transit schedule.
With these facilities, Gambir Station becomes a more welcoming stop for anyone carrying heavy luggage or needing a moment to reset before the next leg of their journey.
