The realization of infrastructure spending throughout 2022 is valued at IDR 117.9 trillion. This figure means that it has fulfilled 93.6 percent of the total 2022 budget ceiling of IDR 125.9 trillion. Several large-scale infrastructure projects have also been built.
This was conveyed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). Meanwhile, the work program carried out includes the construction and maintenance of dams, irrigation, roads, bridges, sanitation, drinking water systems, regional planning, infrastructure in strategic tourism areas, to houses for low-income communities (MBR).
Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono said, his party is prioritizing the use of Domestic Products (PDN) in order to increase competitiveness while supporting the National Economic Recovery (PEN) due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, as well as anticipating inflation.
Furthermore, in infrastructure spending, he stressed the importance of using domestic product components to maintain the wheels of the national economy.
“If forced to import, the Director General must know and if there is really no domestic production,” he explained.
Based on the data, the achievement of the use of PDN in PUPR 2022 infrastructure spending reached a figure of 93.4 percent or IDR 112 trillion from the planned IDR 120 trillion.
From this progress, some PUPR Ministry infrastructures have been inaugurated from January to July 2022.
For Water Resources (SDA) Infrastructure, including the Randugunting Dam in Blora Regency, Central Java (Central Java), the Bintang Bano Dam and the Banyan Sila Dam in West Sumbawa Regency, NTB, the Semantok Dam, East Java, the Ciawi and Sukamahi Dry Dams, the Sadawarna Dam, the Kedung Embung. Sambi and Embung Sumingkir in Central Java, and the Rumpin Modern Nursery Center in West Java.
Furthermore, in the field of Roads and Bridges that have been inaugurated, among others, the Gir Pasang Suspension Bridge in Klaten Regency, Central Java, Bypass – Balige Road (KSPN Danau Toba), Binjai – Langsa Toll Road Section 1 Binjai – Tsabat, Manado – Bitung Toll Road Section 2B Danowudo – Bitung, Ploso Bridge in Jombang Regency, East Java and the Brebes – Tegal Ring Road, Central Java.
While in the field of Settlements/Creative Works that have been inaugurated include the Rehabilitation of Nglinduk 3 Elementary School in Grobogan Regency, Central Java, the Revitalization of the Johar Market in Semarang City, Central Java, the Arrangement of the Free Beach Area in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, Arrangement of the Rinca Island Area and Arrangement of the Marina Beach Area (KSPN) Labuan Bajo).
Finally, in the housing sector, which will be inaugurated in 2022, among others, the Al Quran Azzayadiy Islamic Boarding School Flat in Sukoharjo, Central Java, and the Bhakti Bapak Emak Foundation Flat in Jombang, East Java.
