Jakarta Inner-City Toll Road Fares Will Increase Tomorrow Saturday

The government will make another tariff adjustment for two sections of the Jakarta Inner City Toll Road. The tariff adjustment will take effect from Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The two Jakarta Inner-City Toll roads that will be adjusted for tariffs are Cawang-Tomang-Pluit which is managed by PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk and Cawang-Tanjung Priok-Ancol Timur-Triple Bridge/Pluit which is managed by PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (CMNP). Tbk.

This toll rate adjustment was carried out following the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 74/KPTS/M/2022 dated January 31, 2022, concerning Adjustment of Toll Tariffs on the Cawang-Tomang-Pluit and Cawang-Tanjung Priok-Ancol East Toll Roads. -Triple Bridge/Pluit (Inner City Toll Road).

Based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR, the tariff adjustments on the Jakarta Inner City Toll Road which have increased by Rp. 500 for each class are as follows:
Group I: IDR 10,500 which was originally IDR 10,000
Group II: IDR 15,500 which was originally IDR 15,000
Group III: IDR 15,500 which was originally IDR 15,000
Group IV: IDR 17,500 which was originally IDR 17,000
Group V: IDR 17,500 which was originally IDR 17,000

The adjustment of toll fares has been regulated in Article 48 paragraph (3) of Law (UU) Number 38 of 2004 concerning Roads and Article 68 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation (PP) Number 15 of 2005 concerning Toll Roads with the latest amendment to PP Number 17 2021 year.

The regulation also stipulates that evaluation and adjustment of toll rates are carried out every two years based on the effect of the inflation rate.

This tariff adjustment is certainly inseparable from the commitment of Jasa Marga and PT CMNP to always make improvements to improve services, namely in the fields of transactions, traffic, and construction.

The service improvement is carried out as an effort to provide security, comfort, and safety to toll road users.

“Jasa Marga is consistent in making efforts to improve services, including in the fields of transactions, traffic, and construction,” said Jasamarga Metropolitan Toll Road Regional Division Head Raddy R Lukman in his statement, Wednesday (23/02/2022).

Previously, the tariff adjustment for the Jakarta Inner City Toll Road was based on inflation for the period from November 1, 2019, to November 30, 2021, of 3.03 percent.

This tariff adjustment is also needed as a form of certainty of investment returns for Toll Road Business Entities under the Business Plan, building and maintaining a conducive Toll Road investment climate in Indonesia, as well as maintaining and increasing the level of toll road services.

It should be noted that the Jakarta Inner-City Toll Road is very useful in supporting the growth of the City of Jakarta. With the existence of these toll roads, government health services, offices, business, entertainment, and the Jakarta economy, mobility becomes easy.

This toll road is also a VIP route because it becomes a traffic lane for state guests, traffic lanes for presidents, ministries, and other governments in carrying out official trips.

Furthermore, the toll road is an alternative route to and from the central office area, entertainment center, and a logistics route to and from Tanjung Priok Port and Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
