The number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Indonesia increased by 10,379 people from Monday (1/2/2021) to Tuesday (2/2/2021). The addition of these patients has caused Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to now reach 1,099,687 people.
This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force in data submitted to journalists on Tuesday afternoon. The new cases of positive patients with Covid-19 are spread across 33 provinces. From that data, there were five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
The five provinces are: DKI Jakarta (3,362 new cases), West Java (2,068 new cases), Central Java (1,116 new cases), East Java (847 new cases), East Kalimantan (443 new cases). The government also noted an additional 12,848 patients who have been declared cured. Thus, the total number of patients recovered from Covid-19 was 896,530. In addition, 304 patients have died after previously tested positive for the corona virus.
