The management of MRT Jakarta in its official statement explained that this significant increase is a form of high public trust in this mode of public transportation.

Furthermore, to increase passenger numbers, it works with various parties, especially from the tourism industry such as the culinary sector, activities, shopping centers, health, and education, to ticket promos at several tourist attractions.

In addition, collaboration with several feeder public transportation operators has also boosted transport rates, such as PPD, Tebengan, Gojek, Grab, Transjakarta, and most recently, Swoop.

The presence of this feeder transport will have an impact not only on increasing transport rates but also encouraging a culture of using ride-sharing platforms.

The increasing public interest in using the MRT is because this transportation also uses technology that makes it easier.

MRT Jakarta service users can use the application on smartphones to buy travel tickets, use usage points to exchange for various promos, and even watch movies and play mobile games.
