The Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration provides convenience for the public by opening Simpatik and Eazy Passport services. This service is valid from January 7 and ends on January 25, 2023. Then, what exactly are the two passport services?

Simpatik Passport is a passport service that is provided to the public every weekend, Saturday, and Sunday, with a walk-in passport quota determined by the local immigration office.

Meanwhile, Eazy Passport is a passport service provided specifically for vulnerable groups every working day, Monday to Friday. The people who are included in the vulnerable group here include children under five years old (toddlers), elderly (elderly) over 60 years, and persons with disabilities.

Director General of Immigration Silmy Karim on Saturday (06/01/2023) in a press release explained, “This service is given to look at the increasing number of passport applications, as well as facilitating people who only have time on weekends.”

Specifically for the Eazy Passport service, there is no minimum number of applicants that must be collected to be served by the local immigration authorities.

Meanwhile, specifically for the immigration office in the DKI Jakarta area, they present a Passport Service Car for the Eazy Passport service to make it even more convenient for the community.

Furthermore, the purpose of providing Simpatik Passport and Eazy Passport services is to commemorate the 73rd Immigration Service Day (HBI) which will be commemorated on January 26, 2023.

The implementation of the Simpatik Passport and Eazy Passport services is based on the Decree of the Director General of Immigration Number IMI-0005.KP.04.01 of 2023 concerning the National Committee for the 73rd Immigration Service Day in 2023.

“The opening of the Eazy Passport every working day up to HBI is meant to bring immigration services closer to people across the country,” said Silmy.

He also hopes that the presence of these two passport services can provide convenience and comfort, especially for vulnerable groups of people who want to apply for passports. For people who want to apply for passports through the Simpatik Passport or Eazy Passport services, they can confirm with the immigration office they are aiming for.
