The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) in a joint budget work meeting with Commission I of the DPR RI said that the realization of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics’ budget ceiling had increased. Therefore, his party told Commission I of the DPR RI for the 2022 budget to be Rp. 26,278 trillion.
This was conveyed directly by the Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G. Plate. He claims to have implemented effective and prudent budget management. He explained that there was a trend of increasing budget realization from 2018 to 2022.

Johnny assessed that the Ministry of Communication and Informatics’ budget ceiling from year to year continues to increase, including the 2018 Ceiling of IDR 5.164 trillion with the current realization of 94.8 percent, in 2019 of IDR 6.671 trillion with the current realization of 97,4 percent.
Meanwhile, in 2020, it was Rp. 8.094 trillion with a realization of 98.2 percent and in 2021 it increased by Rp. 24.139 trillion with a realization of 96.99 percent.
Therefore, his party told Commission I of the DPR RI for the 2022 to be Rp. 26,278 trillion. Johnny also hopes that the realization of the budget will increase.
“With the prognosis for realization at the end of the year of 93.15%, hopefully, the realization can be higher later,” he said.
