Recent data from the Tangerang City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP) highlights the sector’s strength. In the second quarter of 2024, property investment contributed 42% of the total IDR 3.97 trillion investment in the city. This significant share reflects growing interest in real estate, supported by continuous infrastructure enhancements.
According to property analyst Panangian Simanungkalit, Tangerang Raya’s rapid development has placed it among the most promising investment destinations in Greater Jakarta. “With improved connectivity, property values in Tangerang will continue to rise in the coming years,” he explained on March 5, 2025.
Key infrastructure developments, including toll roads and public transportation networks, are making the region even more attractive. However, Panangian cautioned investors to assess several factors before making decisions. “Land price fluctuations, government regulations, and global economic conditions need to be carefully considered to ensure profitability,” he added.
