The latest fares adjustments for several toll road sections will be announced tomorrow, Friday (7/10). This adjustment is waiting for the signing of the Toll Road Concession Amendment (PPJT) amendment.
After the PPJT amendment, the investment value of new toll roads will emerge so that from there it can be adjusted to the new toll fares.
This news was confirmed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT)
Head of BPJT PUPR Danang Parikesit said that there were already several toll road fares being processed for adjustment until the end of this year. The determination of the amount still has to wait for the signing of the new amendments.
“We have already processed several. (Adjustments to the toll rate) are waiting for the amendment signature, some of the inventory is waiting for the PPJT amendment, which God willing, we will do this Friday (7/10),” said Danang at the PUPR Ministry Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/10/).
As for quoting from the official BPJT website, of the 80 toll roads in Indonesia, there are as many as 69 toll roads in operation. In the official regulation, every two years toll road sections will undergo tariff adjustments that are adjusted to annual inflation.
“That’s every two years, right (tariff adjustment). So if every year this is about half, now it’s the third quarter, maybe not up to 36 toll roads,” he said.
Previously, the Head of the Public Communication Bureau of the PUPR Ministry, Pantja Dharma Oetojo, said that there would be 11 toll roads scheduled to make tariff adjustments until the end of next year.
“There are 11 plans to adjust toll tariffs by the end of the year,” he said.
Previously reported, during this year some toll roads that have undergone tariff adjustments include the Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road, Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road, Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road, Soreang-Pasir Koja Toll Road, Cikampek Toll Road. Palimanan, and Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road.
Meanwhile, the sections that have been scheduled for tariff adjustments include the Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi Toll Road, Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, and Pandaan-Malang Toll Road.
