Although the mudik (travel to home region during Eid al-Fitr) period has passed, Handy explained that Ngurah Rai Airport still has a mudik post open until May 2nd, 2023, in accordance with the government’s instructions to provide an opportunity for the public or employees to extend their holiday.

“Although the 2023 Eid al-Fitr holiday period has ended, the Integrated Eid al-Fitr Air Transportation Post 2023 is still running until May 2nd, 2023. To ensure the safety, security, and comfort of airport users, we are still implementing the post to monitor and anticipate passenger traffic on those dates,” said Handy.

As the Eid al-Fitr holiday season is a time when many people travel, it is important for airports to be prepared to handle the surge in passenger traffic. Ngurah Rai Airport’s efforts to maintain safety, security, and comfort for passengers during the busy holiday season are commendable.
