Louis Vuitton, the world-renowned fashion house, has released a travel book highlighting Indonesia’s stunning landscapes and rich culture. This 29th edition in the Louis Vuitton travel book series is seen as a powerful promotional tool for Indonesia, warmly welcomed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.
“The travel book by Louis Vuitton will be an effective promotional tool to introduce Wonderful Indonesia to the world, leveraging the global influence of the Louis Vuitton brand,” said Sandiaga, as quoted from Kompas.com on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
To capture the essence of Indonesia, Louis Vuitton collaborated with German illustrator George Barber, also known as Atak. Inspired by his visit to Indonesia, Atak’s vibrant illustrations beautifully depict the country’s natural beauty and cultural richness. These colorful illustrations are available in three languages: Indonesian, English, and French.
Interestingly, the recognition of Indonesia’s breathtaking scenery comes not just from within the country but also from international acclaim. British survey analysis website Money.co.uk recently ranked Indonesia as the top country for natural beauty, outshining 49 other nations, including Japan, France, and New Zealand.
